Response from Macmillan

I got an email from Macmillan Children's Books, which not regarding to take work placement.

Dear Soju,

Many thanks for your enquiry, and for your entry to the competition. Please accept my apologies for the slight delay in getting back to you.

Unfortunately, we very rarely offer work experience placements. We would like to be able to help out with the many applications we receive from students and recent graduates, but this is simply not possible due to the fact that our editorial and design staff must spend the greatest part of their time working hard on our books and publishing them as successfully as possible, as well as developing future projects.

I’m sorry to disappoint you, but wish you all the best in gaining experience and in your future career.

With kind regards,

Ruth Austin
